Kevin Dawson is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over twenty five years experience of property, construction and the built environment. His work covers a broad spectrum of new and existing buildings within the commercial, industrial and residential markets.
Having set up The Dawson Consultancy in 2001 to provide building surveying services, he consistently delivers cost effective, reliable and professional solutions to his clients, interpreting their needs from inception to completion.
As an experienced project manager, Kevin has worked closely with other professionals and understands the need for cooperation and collaboration. In addition, he is used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. This, along with his commercial awareness, makes him a valuable addition to any professional team.
Amongst other things, his experience covers dilapidations advice for both landlord and tenant; pre-acquisition surveys; project management; design, specification and contract administration of fit out and construction projects and various cost consultancy and employer’s agent type roles.
Kevin regularly produces reports on complex technical matters which define and convey the salient issues in a clear and unambiguous manner to non-technical clients. He also possesses excellent oral and written presentation skills.
During his career, Kevin has worked in the public and private sectors for employers including Westminster City Council, Gooch & Wagstaff and Arthur Andersen.
